EDITOR’S NOTE: A document entitled “City of Englewood Employment Policies,” covering such matters as overtime, holidays, vacations, etc., was adopted by Resolution 71-32, passed October 26, 1971, and amended by Resolution 51-02, passed November 26, 2002, Resolution 10-05, passed February 22, 2005, Resolution 20-08, passed July 8, 2008, Resolution 15-11, passed May 10, 2011, Resolution 14-12, passed May 22, 2012, Resolution 17-13, passed May 28, 2013, Ordinance 17-06, passed October 24, 2017, and Resolution 24-22, passed September 27, 2022 pursuant to Section 8.07 of the City Charter.
      A document entitled “City of Englewood Rules of Merit Employment,” establishing uniform and equitable rules for a merit system and the conduct of appointments, promotion, disciplinary action and separation from the City service, was adopted by Resolution 71-45, passed December 28, 1971, and amended by Ordinance 96-11, passed March 27, 1996, Ordinance 97-15, passed June 10, 1997, Ordinance 01-14, passed June 26, 2001, Resolution 18-03, passed April 22, 2003, Resolution 15-04, passed May 11, 2004, Resolution 46-04, passed December 14, 2004, Resolution 40-07, passed November 27, 2007, and Ordinance 17-06, passed October 24, 2017 pursuant to Section 8.07 of the City Charter.
   A document entitled “City of Englewood Employee Performance Appraisal Manual, 1978,” to be used in conjunction with the “City of Englewood Rules of Merit Employment,” was adopted by Resolution 16-78, passed February 14, 1978. Because these documents are separately published they are not codified herein.
