703.23 REQUIREMENTS AFTER REVOCATION.
   (a)   After a permit for an alarm system has been revoked, the person in control of the property on which the alarm system is located must have a statement from a registered alarm system business that the alarm system has been inspected and/or repaired and that it is in operating condition. The person in control of such property shall complete and submit an application for an alarm permit along with permit fees authorized by this chapter to the Safety-Service Director's office.
   (b)   Such person shall be reinstated as a permit holder, subject to all regulations of this chapter and to the same conditions as are applied to all new alarm permit holders.

703.24 INSPECTION REQUESTS . (REPEALED)
   (EDITOR'S NOTE: Section 703.24 was repealed by Ordinance 87-193, passed June 1, 1987.)
703.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
   (b)   Each permit holder and each person having control over property on which an alarm system is installed has an affirmative duty to comply with all provisions of this chapter, and it shall not be a defense to prosecution of such a person that he or she was acting without a culpable mental state.
