17.28.010 Purpose.
   The R-G Multiple-Dwelling Zone is intended exclusively for multiple dwellings, including apartments and duplexes, which are located along landscaped major streets, as indicated on the city’s General Plan. The purpose of the R-G zone is to assure high quality development and the maintenance thereof by special property development standards.

17.28.020 Permitted uses.
   The following uses shall be permitted in the R-G Multiple-Family Residential Zone subject to compliance with the property development standards provided in §§ 17.28.050 through 17.28.180:
   (A)   House trailer to be used as a construction project office during the time of construction, if a valid building permit for the construction project exists;
   (B)   Parks and recreation areas subject to the provisions of Chapter 12.24;
   (C)   Small family day care homes;
   (D)   Uses customarily incidental to any of the above uses and accessory buildings;
   (E)   Similar uses permitted by Commission determination.

17.28.030 Conditional uses.
   The following uses may be permitted subject to a conditional use permit being allowed therefor as provided in Chapter 17.92:
   (A)   Health care facilities subject to the provisions of Chapter 17.73;
   (B)   Multiple dwellings, apartments and bungalow courts of a permanent character and constructed in permanent locations;
   (C)   Planned unit development subject to all the provisions of Chapter 17.82;
   (D)   Senior citizen housing;
   (E)   Other uses as may be permitted pursuant to § 17.92.040.

17.28.040 Prohibited uses.
   Uses prohibited in the R-G zone are as follows:
   (A)   Commercial uses.
   (B)   Manufacturing uses.
   (C)   Cannabis storefront retailer.
   (D)   Cannabis non-storefront retailer.
   (E)   Cannabis manufacturing.
   (F)   Cannabis distribution.
   (G)   Cannabis testing laboratory.
   (H)   Cannabis microbusiness.
   (I)   Cannabis cultivation.
   (J)   Any type of Commercial cannabis activity.
