For purposes of this chapter the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings ascribed to them respectively:
AT LARGE: Any dog, cat, or other domestic animal off the premises of the owner and not under the control of the owner or his authorized agent by leash or other means.
CAT: Any animal, male or female, of any kind, age and description of the feline species which is more than two (2) months old.
DOG: Any animal, male or female, of any kind, age and description of the canine species which is more than two (2) months old.
DOMESTIC ANIMAL: Any animal, male or female, of any kind, age and description which is normally kept or referred to as a household pet. (1976 Code § 98.001)
