Sections 14-5-1-1 et seq. are adopted pursuant to the authority set forth in Article 1 of the Charter of the City of Albuquerque, which was adopted at a special election on June 29, 1971 pursuant to Article X, Section 6, of the Constitution of the State of New Mexico.
