No water shall be used other than for fire extinguishing purposes from private fire protection facilities. Unprotected cross-connections (as defined within Chapter 6, Article 2, Cross-Connection Prevention and Control) are prohibited. Upon evidence of a violation hereof, the city shall install a meter of appropriate size and design at the consumer's expense, and all water used from the private fire protection facilities shall be charged and collected at the rates provided for by city ordinance for metered service [see Ch. 6, Art 4].
