(A) Any person who violates any provision of this article for which no other penalty is set forth shall be subject to the general penalty set forth in § 8-1-3-99(A).
(B) Any person convicted of reckless driving [i.e., violating § 8-2-1-12] shall be punished upon a first conviction by imprisonment for not less than five days nor more than 90 days and by a fine of not less than $100, and upon a second or subsequent conviction by imprisonment for not less than ten days nor more than 90 days and by a fine of not less than $300. (C) Every person convicted of a violation of § 8-2-1-15 shall be punished upon a first conviction by imprisonment for not less than seven days nor more than 90 days and, in addition thereto, by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $300; and upon a second or subsequent conviction by imprisonment for not less than 30 days nor more than 90 days and, in addition thereto, by a fine of not less than $300. (D) Every person convicted of a violation of § 8-2-1-20 shall be punished upon a first conviction by imprisonment for not less than seven days, nor more than 90 days, and by a fine of not less than $100, and on a second or subsequent conviction by imprisonment for not less than 15 days nor more than 90 days, and by a fine of not less than $300.
