(a) Direction. All funerals, interments and disinterments in any cemetery shall be under the direction of the Superintendent of Cemeteries.
(b) Notice. Notice of a funeral, with the exact location of the grave, must be furnished to the Superintendent a reasonable time in advance of the interment.
(c) Strangers in Funeral Zones Prohibited. Strangers shall not approach the grave at which a funeral is being conducted. When deemed necessary by the Superintendent, or upon request of the lot owner or his or her representative, a funeral zone may be established and properly marked and no person, other than persons attending the funeral, will be permitted to trespass within its boundaries.
(d) Suspension of Work. Workmen must suspend their labor within the immediate vicinity of a funeral until the conclusion of all of such services.

No person shall enter or remain within any cemetery between one-half hour after sunset and 8:00 a.m. of the following day, except workmen employed by the City. An earlier closing time may be established when approved by the Cemetery Committee and posted by the Superintendent of Cemeteries.

(a) Sightseeing or Heavy Vehicles. Sightseeing vehicles or other heavy or cumbersome vehicles shall not enter any cemetery without permission of the Superintendent of Cemeteries.
(b) Places of Entrance. No person shall enter, nor shall any vehicle be propelled or driven into, any cemetery except through the established gates and entrances thereof.
(c) Speed. No vehicle shall be driven in any cemetery at any time at a speed greater than is reasonable and proper under all circumstances, and in no event in excess of fifteen miles per hour.
(d) Operation on Roadways Only. No vehicle of any description shall be driven or propelled in any cemetery except upon those portions of the roadways set aside for vehicular traffic.
(e) Application of Traffic Code. The provisions of the Traffic Code, relative to the operation of vehicles and the conduct of pedestrians, shall apply and control in cemeteries, except as modified in this chapter.

Children under the age of twelve years shall not be allowed in cemeteries unless accompanied by their parents or other adults, except for the purpose of placing flowers on the grave of a deceased relative or friend or performing any other customary evidence of respect in accordance with their religious principles.

(a) Decorum. Because cemetery ground is sacredly devoted to the interment and repose of the dead, strict observance of the decorum due to such a place will be required of all persons.
(b) Noise or Disorderly Conduct. No person shall make any improper noise or disturbance, use any profane or indecent language or conduct himself or herself in a disorderly manner within the limits of any cemetery.

No person shall take any firearm or explosive into any cemetery, except that military or other organizations may carry arms therein for the purpose of firing a salute over the grave at the burial of a member of their organization or upon observance of memorial services.
