§ 72.42 TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF BICYCLE; REREGISTRATION; FEE.
   (A)   Bicycle licenses shall not be transferable from bicycle to bicycle, but shall be transferable from person to person, pursuant to a change in ownership of the bicycle and in accordance with a change in registration of such bicycle with the Police Department.
   (B)   Not later than seven (7) days after the sale or exchange of any bicycle within the city, the purchaser of such bicycle shall make application to the Police Department of the city for a change in the registration of such bicycle, furnishing the Police Department with the necessary information required by them to effect this change of registration. There shall be a fifty cent ($.50) charge for a change in registration of any bicycle.

§ 72.43 BICYCLE DEALERS TO REPORT TRANSACTIONS TO POLICE.
   Each person engaged in the business of buying or selling new or secondhand bicycles within the city shall make a report to the Chief of Police each week of every bicycle purchased or sold by such dealer, giving the name and address of the person from whom purchased or to whom sold, a description of such bicycle by name or make, the frame number thereof and the number of the license plate, if any, found thereon.

§ 72.44 RIDING ON SIDEWALKS.
   No person shall ride a bicycle upon a sidewalk within a business district. Whenever any person is riding a bicycle upon a sidewalk, such person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian and shall give audible signal before overtaking and passing such pedestrian.

§ 72.45 TOWING.
   No operator of a bicycle shall tow or draw any coaster, sled, person on roller skates, wagon, toy vehicle or other similar vehicle on any public road, sidewalk or public place.
