A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the age requirement for certificates of fitness for transporting certain materials
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

§ 2. Notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of this local law, any certificate of fitness issued by the fire department prior to the effective date of this local law which is in effect on such effective date shall continue in effect in accordance with its terms, unless sooner suspended or revoked, provided that upon renewal the holder thereof shall be considered an applicant for purposes of paragraph one of subdivision a of section 27-4014 of the administrative code of the city of New York as amended by section one of this local law.
§ 3. This local law shall take effect immediately.
