4-1-1: DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this chapter, the following words shall have the following definitions:
BULK RUBBISH: Large items such as a chair, couch, stove, hot water heater, mattress, appliance, etc., which cannot be placed in a required suitable container.
BUNDLED TREE LIMBS: Tree limbs cut in length to no longer than three feet (3') and tied in bundles with a diameter no larger than eighteen inches (18"), which are not placed in a suitable container for landscape waste.
GARBAGE: Wastes resulting from the wrapping, handling, storage, preparation, cooking and consumption of food of all kinds.
LANDSCAPE WASTE: Grass, shrubbery, cuttings, leaves or other material resulting from the care of lawns, shrubbery, weeds, vines or trees.
RUBBISH: Such matter as ashes, metalware, broken glass, crockery, dirt, sweepings, dead animals, boxes, wood, tin cans, bottles, or litter of any kind, that can be put in required suitable containers, but not "landscape waste" as defined herein. (Ord. 759, 5-13-1992)
