The proceeds from the sale of crypts in the mausoleum, and any other fees charged in connection with services at the mausoleum, shall constitute a separate fund called the "Mausoleum Fund". All proceeds from the sale of crypts, and any other service for which charges may be made in the future in connection with the mausoleum, shall be deposited in the Mausoleum Fund and used for the perpetual care of the mausoleum.

The Board of Managers shall invest the funds of the Dodge Grove Cemetery in municipal bonds of the state, securities of the U.S. government or securities guaranteed by the U.S. government, the securities of building and loan associations located in the city, or upon note and first mortgages securing the same upon real estate within this state, of a value in double the amount of the debt, drawing interest semi-annually, and they shall require abstracts and other proof of title or validity in connection therewith, all with the approval of the Mayor and City Clerk. Such securities shall at once be deposited in the custody of the Treasurer of the Board of Managers and shall be accounted for to his successors in office from time to time and held in trust forever for the purposes specified and none other. All notes or other papers which are payable to order shall be made to the city for the use and benefit of Dodge Grove Cemetery. Releases for mortgages shall be executed by the Mayor and Clerk.

The following certificate of title and ownership shall be the official form for transferring title and ownership to a crypt or crypts in the mausoleum.

The City of Mattoon, Coles County, Illinois, in consideration of full payment therefore, hereby conveys and warrants unto full title and ownership to Crypt Number , in Family Compartment , Deluxe Section , Tie , Elevation , of the Corridor in the DODGE GROVE CEMETERY MAUSOLEUM, subject to all rules and regulations of the Board of Trustees of Dodge Grove Cemetery.
It is agreed that title and ownership to the property conveyed herein shall not be transferred without written notice to the transfer to the Board of Trustees of Dodge Grove Cemetery by providing said Board of Trustees with a copy of the Transfer of Title and Ownership provided for on the reverse side hereof.

(A) It shall be the duty of the Superintendent of Dodge Grove Cemetery to take charge of, superintend, preserve and maintain the cemetery, attend all funerals, and give directions as to burials. He shall superintend work ordered by the Board of Managers and shall cause to be prosecuted all persons who shall be guilty of a violation of any ordinance of the city in relation to the cemetery that may come to his knowledge. The Superintendent shall have the power of a police officer, and shall be commissioned as such.

(B) The Superintendent of Dodge Grove Cemetery shall on or before the first Tuesday of each month, furnish to the Council, a statement in writing, showing the number of interments made in such cemetery during the preceding month, with the name, sex and color of each person interred, the date of death, the disease or causes of death, the age and residence of the deceased.
