The Board of Police Commissioners is authorized to terminate the credit of any person or organization who fails to make payment within the required time. Upon such termination of credit, the Chief Accounting Employee is authorized to draw a demand against the trust fund in favor of Departmental Receipts for the payment of all unpaid charges.

All monies deposited hereunder shall be refunded upon order of the Board after all outstanding charges have been paid upon termination by the Board or upon written request of the depositor. The depositor shall surrender the depositer’s original receipt for the guarantee deposit on file or an affidavit as to its loss with proof of identity, approved by the Board.

The Department of Police shall charge and collect fees for furnishing:
(a) Photostatic or other reproductions of traffic accident reports.
(b) Copies of photographs taken during the course of investigation of a traffic accident.
(c) Photostatic or other reproductions of a crime report.
(d) Photostatic or other reproductions of an arrest report.
(e) Clearance/detention letters.
(f) ECCCS Reports.
(g) Audio/Video cassette tapes
(h) Training video cassettes.
(i) Criminal record summaries.

The Board of Police Commissioners shall establish a schedule of fees for the services rendered pursuant to Section 22.261. The amount of such fees shall be based upon the cost to the Department of the services rendered.

The fees required herein shall not apply to any department or agency of the Federal, State, County or municipal governments or other political subdivision thereof, nor to any public officer, board or body acting in an official capacity.
