9.97.010: DEFINITIONS:

For purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

CITY PARKS, RECREATIONAL AREAS, AND PUBLIC SCHOOL GROUNDS: City owned parks (including any streets and sidewalks located therein), playgrounds, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, bleachers and spectator areas, trails, picnic pavilions and shelters, and other recreational areas, and publicly owned school playgrounds.

SMOKING: Possession of, carrying, or holding a lighted pipe, cigar, or cigarette of any kind, or any other lighted smoking equipment, or the lighting or emitting or exhaling of smoke of a pipe, cigar, or cigarette of any kind, or of any other lighted smoking equipment. (Ord. 08-03, 3-27-2008)

9.97.020: SMOKING PROHIBITED IN CITY PARKS, RECREATIONAL AREAS AND CERTAIN OTHER PUBLIC AREAS:

Smoking is prohibited at all times in all city parks and recreational areas and public school playgrounds. (Ord. 08-03, 3-27-2008)
