ADOPTION OF SALT LAKE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT REGULATIONS BY REFERENCE

9.98.010: PURPOSE:

The city council finds that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the city to adopt portions of the Salt Lake County health regulations to clarify the authority of the city to enforce provisions of such regulations for violations occurring within the city. (1999 Code)

9.98.020: REGULATIONS ADOPTED:

The following Salt Lake County health regulations, as adopted by the board of health, and amendments thereto, are hereby adopted in their entirety. The regulations shall be construed to apply only to the incorporated areas of the city and references in the regulations including reference to personnel and officers of the board of health shall be interpreted and construed, where necessary to carry out the intent of this chapter and title, to personnel and officers of the city:

   A.   Solid waste management facilities;

   B.   Design, construction and operation of public swimming pools;

   C.   Housing;

   D.   Reserved;

   E.   Food service establishments;

   F.   Preparation of meat, food products, etc.;

   G.   General sanitation;

   H.   Honeybees and invenomating invertebrates;

   I.   Kennels, catteries and groomeries;

   J.   Reserved;

   K.   Individual water systems;

   L.   Subdivisions;

   M.   Wastewater disposal systems

   N.   Watersheds;

   O.   Mobile home parks;

   P.   Recreational vehicle parks;

   Q.   Mass gatherings;

   R.   Massage establishments, bathhouses, health salons and outcall massage services;

   S.   Tattoo establishments;

   T.   Barber shops and beauty salons;

   U.   Reserved;

   V.   Motor vehicle emission inspection and maintenance;

   W.   Reserved;

   X.   Asbestos;

   Y.   Commercial tanning facilities;

   Z.   Diesel emissions control fee standard;

   AA.   Bed and breakfast;

   AB.   Diesel vehicle emissions I/M program. (1999 Code)

9.98.030: COPIES ON FILE:

Copies of the Salt Lake city-county health regulations shall be filed for use and examination by the public in the offices of the city recorder. (1999 Code)
