NOISE
(A) Times. The noise emanating from construction or maintenance activities occurring within residential zoned districts of the village including but not limited to noises such as hammering, sawing, drilling, excavating, heavy construction vehicles and equipment operation, pumping, and sandblasting is prohibited except when the noise occurs between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays; and the noise does not cause a public nuisance.
(B) Exemptions. Noise emanating from village, county or state authorized emergency, repair or maintenance projects occurring within residential zoned districts are exempt from this provision.

WEEDS
For the purpose of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DEBRIS. Scattered remains: ruins; discarded waste: litter.
GARBAGE. The animal and vegetable waste resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food.
REFUSE. Something rejected or discarded as worthless: trash.
RUBBISH. Combustible and noncombustible waste materials, except garbage; the term shall include the residue from the burning of wood, coal, coke, and other combustible materials; paper, rags, cartons, boxes, wood, excelsior, rubber, leather, tree branches, yard trimmings, tin cans, metals, mineral matter, glass, crockery and dust and other similar materials.
TRASH. Worthless, discarded material; junk.
WEEDS. Includes, but is not limited to, thistles, cockleburrs, Canada thistles and all of its varieties, perennial sow thistles, European Bentwood, Leafy Spurge, Russian Knapwood, Johnson Grass, Giant Foxtail, Hoary Cress, Jimson, Burdock, Cockleburrs, Ragweed and similar weeds and all weeds which, due to pollution are a menace to health, are, for purposes of this section, deemed noxious weeds.
