It is the purpose of the B-AO Business-Automotive Oriented District to accommodate and encourage those business establishments offering accommodations, services and goods to the public. The Business-Automotive Oriented District is most appropriately located adjacent to freeway interchanges and the intersections of major thoroughfares.

Principally permitted uses are as follows:
A. Automotive Filling Stations.
B. Automotive Repair and Service.
C. Automotive Sales.
D. Convenience Business.
E. Drive-In Facility.
F. Fast Food Restaurants.
G. Off-Premises Signs.
H. Restaurants.
I. Any other use determined by the Building Inspector to be of the same general character as the above permitted uses.

Permitted accessory uses are as follows:
A. Any use customary and incidental to the permitted use.
Accessory uses, other than signs and fences, shall be located in the rear yard only and located not closer than six (6) feet from any lot line and covering not more than thirty-five percent (35%) of the required rear yard.
