The maximum number of multi-household units permitted on a tract of land shall be based on the square footage of lot area per dwelling unit. For efficiency dwelling units and for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom dwelling units, a minimum of two thousand five hundred (2,500) square feet of lot area per dwelling unit is required. For dwelling units with four (4) or more bedrooms, a minimum of five thousand (5,000) square feet of lot area per dwelling unit is required.

The minimum side yard setback for properties in an R-MHL Residential-Multi- Household Low Density District shall be as follows:
A. Two household dwellings shall have a minimum side yard of not less than eight (8) feet with a total minimum side yard setback of twenty (20) feet.
B. Multi-household dwellings of three (3) or four (4) dwelling units shall have a minimum side yard of not less than twelve (12) feet with a total minimum side yard setback of thirty (30) feet.
C. Multi-household dwellings of five (5) dwelling units or more shall have a minimum side yard of not less than twenty (20) feet.
D. Any other permitted use shall have a minimum side yard of not less than twenty (20) feet with a total minimum side yard setback of fifty (50) feet.

The maximum height regulations for properties in an R-MHL Residential-Multi- Household Low Density District shall be as follows:
A. No two household, three household or four household building shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet in height.
B. No multi-household building shall exceed forty (40) feet in height.
C. No accessory building shall exceed fifteen (15) feet in height.

Off-street parking and loading shall be required as specified in Chapter 1175. However, not less than twenty feet of horizontal open space on the ground shall be provided between any principal building and the curb line of any surface parking area or access drive. Furthermore, no one area dedicated for the off-street parking of motor vehicles, except for enclosed garages, shall exceed thirty parking spaces in capacity. Separate parking areas on a parcel shall be physically separated by planting strips a minimum of ten (10) feet in width. The strips shall include a pedestrian/handicapped accessible crossover every fifteen cars or less.
