§ 9-2. Spitting in public places.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to spit upon any streets, avenues or public ways within the city, or upon the floor of any hall or office of any hotel or lodging house which is used in common by guests thereof, or upon the floor of any open hall or building within the city, which is used in common by the public or upon the floor of any depot or station platform in the city.
