The official Flood Insurance Rate Maps and Flood Boundary and Floodway Maps, dated September 27, 1985, with accompanying maps and other supporting data, and any revisions thereto, including through a Letter of Map Amendment or through Letter of Map Revision, of the Federal Insurance Administration report shall be filed with the Codes Enforcement Officer, and are adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this article. The purpose of this filing is to make information available to all persons in order to allow them to evaluate the impact of flooding on land within the community. All records pertaining to the provisions of this article shall be maintained by the Codes Enforcement Officer and shall be open for public inspection during ordinary office hours.
