§ 4-127. Appointment, composition.
   By the mayor of the City of Danville and the County Judge/Executive of Boyle County and with the approval of the City Commissioners and the Magistrates of the Fiscal Court, the "Board" shall consist of seven (7) members, consisting of two (2) fire department officials, two (2) licensed electrical engineers or architects, two (2) licensed electrical contractors and one (1) utility company official. The appointments shall be made as follows: The Mayor of the City may recommend one (1) fire department official from the City Fire Department; one (1) licensed electrical engineer or architect whose place of business is located within the City; and one (1) licensed electrical contractor whose place of business is located within the City. The County Judge/ Executive may recommend one (1) fire department official from the County Fire Department; one (1) licensed electrical engineer whose business is located anywhere in the county; and one (1) licensed electrical contractor whose business is located anywhere in the county. The utility company official may be from either the Kentucky Utilities Company or the RECC, Jointly approved by the Mayor and County Judge/Executive, and this appointment may be staggered so that each utility company alternates service on the Board. The members of the board shall be appointed for the term of one (1) year and shall be subject to removal for cause by the Mayor of the City and the County Judge/ Executive. The electrical inspector shall be a member ex officio of this board. He shall, from time to time, inform himself as to the latest and most approved practices governing the installation of electrical material and equipment and shall, from time to time, bring to the attention of the board any necessity for revision, amendment or additions to this article.
