§ 4-110. Expiration; renewal.
   (a)   All licenses shall be for fiscal year or fraction of the fiscal year. All licenses shall be obtained on or before January first, and shall expire at midnight, December thirty-first, and so on from year to year.
   (b)   Where an occupational license expires by failure on the part of the licensee to renew it on or before the expiration date, the renewal shall date back to the date of expiration of the expired license. No license shall be renewed after a period of one (1) year from the date of expiration. The licensee who permits his license to expire shall be required to pay the license fee for a whole year and take an examination.
   (c)   Each person holding a license described in this section shall have and exhibit a policy of liability insurance in the face amount of no less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00). They shall pay a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) annually for a license as specified in subsection (a).
