FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Fire Department shall be composed of a Chief of the Fire Department, Fire Prevention Officers of the Fire Department, Lieutenants of the Fire Department and firefighters who shall be the officers and members of the Fire Department and such paid-on-call firefighters as determined necessary by the Fire Chief or as otherwise provided in applicable collective bargaining agreements, and shall consist of two fire companies to be located and have headquarters as follows:
(A) Fire company No. 1 with headquarters at fire station No. 1, 2450 West Vermont Street, Blue Island, Illinois; and
(B) Fire company No. 2 with headquarters at fire station No. 2, 13257 Division Street, Blue Island, Illinois.

There are created the respective offices of the Chief of the Fire Department, one Fire Prevention Officer, three Lieutenants and such additional offices of the Fire Department as may from time to time be provided by ordinance.
