(A) The decision by the City Council to acquire the Sunport Swimming Pool and related facilities as part of the first year Community Development Program is hereby in all respects approved and affirmed.
(B) The City Council hereby finds and declares that Councillor Ray Baca did in fact act properly by abstaining from voting on the question of acquisition of that property by the city; further, the fact he was an owner of the Sunport Pool had no influence on the decision to acquire the Sunport Pool.
(C) The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is hereby urged to approve the acquisition of the Sunport Pool and related improvements as part of the first year Community Development Program of the city.
