(A) The city shall acquire as large a portion of the area described in division (B) below for open space as possible.
(B) The city shall explore various means to acquire the land, or portions thereof, for usable open space in the area in the Mid-North Valley, which is defined as follows:
On the east side of the Rio Grande, on the north side of Candelaria Boulevard and between Matthew Avenue and Candelaria Road, the Griegos Drain and the Griegos Lateral, which exact boundaries are shown on the map attached to Resolution 149-1975.
