(A) The city shall conduct appraisals and commence negotiations for the purchase of available open, space in the Sandia Foothills, as defined by the Sandia Foothills Master Plan approved July 23, 1973 to the extent of available money for open space acquisition including possible Bureau of Outdoor Recreation matching grants.
(B) Priorities for acquisition of open space as indicated on the Sandia Foothills Master Plan, May 1973, are approved.
