(A) The Women's Pay Equity Task Force shall be established to meet, hold public hearings and make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council no later than March 31, 2014.
(B) The Women's Pay Equity Task Force shall be composed of five members:
(1) Three members appointed by the Mayor;
(2) Two members appointed by the President of the Council.
(C) All members should bring expertise and insight on both Women's Pay Equity issues and successful compliance implementation processes.
(D) Upon completion of the Pay Equity study by the Task Force, the report should:
(1) Indentify areas and industries failing to comply with this law;
(2) Indentify why compliance is problematic;
(3) Indentify policies, procedures and methods to shrink the gap in the pay equity of women to men; and
(4) Indentify current pay equity benchmarks and pursue opportunities to ensure those pay equity benchmarks are successful.
