§ 6-6-2 COMMITMENT TO ASSIST THE NAACP IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE RESIDENTS.
   (A)   The city is committed to assisting the Albuquerque branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in the development of employment opportunities in the public and private sectors for the residents of Albuquerque regardless of race, color, creed, sex, age and national origin, including the utilization of available resources within the existing manpower programs, such as the jobs programs established under the Office of the Comprehensive Employment Training Act of 1973 (OCETA), and the Work Incentive Program (WIN).
   (B)   The city calls upon the New Mexico Congressional Delegation to insure that the federal employment jobs programs, such as the Comprehensive Employment Training Act of 1973 (OCETA) and the Work Incentive Program (WIN), be granted priority as to continuous funding and availability.
   (C)   The city hereby supports efforts to minimize unemployment and to attempt to develop programs which will provide employment opportunities for all who seek them and that the New Mexico Congressional Delegation be apprised of the action taken by the city.
