(A) The city shall proceed with a merger between the Foundation for Explora Science Center and the Albuquerque Children's Museum to be organized and governed as a private non-for-profit board, with the Explora Science Center to be operated by a non-profit contract agency.
(B) A detailed plan addressing the merger and governance issues be submitted to the Council no later than 12 months prior to the opening of the facility.
(C) The Administration shall prepare a five year budget for the combined operations of the Explora Science Center and the Albuquerque Children's Museum as soon as possible, and not longer than four months from the enactment date of this legislation.
