(A) The Mayor with the consent of Council shall select an employee on the first day of each month, based on the outcome of the performance evaluation conducted pursuant to Section 3-1-9, ROA 1994, to be honored as the Employee of the Month at the next scheduled Council meeting.
(B) The Employee of the Month shall be the subject of a Council Proclamation and shall be recognized at the Council Meeting.
(C) At the end of the year, the Council shall select the Employee of the Year from the twelve employees honored each month. The Employee of the Year shall receive a bonus in the amount of $1,000.
(D) The Mayor with the consent of Council shall select a City Department to be acknowledged each month by the Council based on the Department's efforts, innovation and responsiveness.
