§ 3-8-11 GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT
   (A)   The city adopts a policy to require gross vehicle weight restrictions on the following:
      (1)   Carlisle Boulevard between Constitution Avenue and Copper Avenue NE, prohibiting vehicles with a gross weight of 8 tons or over from using this segment of Carlisle as a through street, excluding vehicles used for official government business.
         (a)   This division does not prohibit vehicles over a gross weight of 8 tons from traveling on Lomas Boulevard NE across Carlisle Boulevard NE.
         (b)   This section does not prohibit vehicles weighing over 8 tons from using Carlisle Boulevard between Constitution Avenue and Copper Avenue NE to make deliveries or pick ups within the restricted area.
      (2)   San Pedro Drive between Osuna Road and Claremont Avenue NE prohibiting vehicles with a gross weight of 8 tons or over from using this segment of San Pedro Drive NE as a through street, excluding vehicles used for official government business.
         (a)   This division does not prohibit vehicles over a gross weight of 8 tons from traveling on any minor arterial or collector street across San Pedro Street NE.
         (b)   This division does not prohibit vehicles weighing over 8 tons from using San Pedro Drive between Osuna Road and Claremont Avenue NE to make deliveries or pick ups within the restricted area.
      (3)   Fortuna Avenue Northwest between 76th Street Northwest and a location approximately 900 feet west of 64th Street Northwest is restricted to vehicles of a gross maximum weight of 5000 pounds or less, except if the destination of such vehicles is located within the Cedar Ridge or West Mesa Manor subdivisions.
