§ 2-7-2 TRANSPORTATION EVALUATION STUDY ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
   (A)   An Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council. The Committee will serve in an advisory capacity to the Transportation Evaluation Study project management team and represent a broad base of interests in the community in the following manner:
      (1)   Each committee member is to draw on his or her education and experience in transportation and land use issues to focus on the needs of the community as a whole.
      (2)   Each committee member is to convey various constituencies' interests and concerns to the study project management team.
      (3)   Each committee member is to work actively to communicate the progress and recommendations of the study to the various constituencies.
   (B)   The Committee shall consist of 15 members representing the following constituencies:
      (1)   One member representing developers with an interest in relating transportation to land use policies; and
      (2)   One member representing the League of Neighborhoods representing neighborhood associations or coalitions thereof; and
      (3)   One member representing the disabled community; and
      (4)   One member representing the Central Business District; and
      (5)   One member representing the Uptown area; and
      (6)   One member representing senior citizens; and
      (7)   One member representing environmentalists/conservationists; and
      (8)   One member representing the economic development community; and
      (9)   One member representing low income, public transit dependent people; and
      (10)   Two members representing large educational institutions; and
      (11)   Two members representing major employers; and
      (12)   One member representing the League of Women Voters; and
      (13)   One member representing the hotel, convention and tourist industry.
   (C)   Except as may otherwise be provided herein, the Committee shall be subject to the Public Boards, Commissions and Committees Ordinance.
   (D)   Staff support for the Committee shall be supplied by the Public Works Department.
   (E)   The Committee shall remain responsible for fulfilling its assigned tasks until disbanded by the Mayor, or 30 days after the acceptance of the Final Report of the Transportation Evaluation Study by the Council whichever event occurs first.
