(A) The city hereby establishes an Office of Violence Against Women as a part of the Family and Community Services Department.
(B) A city position shall be created to act as a Program Coordinator for all agencies and non-profits currently offering services to the victims and families of violence against women.
(C) The Coordinator of the Office of Violence Against Women shall report to the Director of the Family and Community Services Department.
(D) The city shall apply for a federal grant and a 50/50 funding arrangement with the U.S. Department of Justice in conjunction with the Federal Violence Against Women Act.
