§ 1-1-9 PROCEDURES ON SPECIAL WARRANTY DEEDS AND QUITCLAIM DEEDS ON FORECLOSED PROPERTY. 
   (A)   The Mayor or his designated representative is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the city, a Special Warranty Deed or a Quitclaim Deed to the former owner of foreclosed property upon it being shown to the Mayor or his representative satisfaction that the sum due, as agreed upon, for the redemption has been paid in full.
   (B)   The City Commission Resolution of March 19, 1973, granting the former owner of foreclosed property an additional year of redemption, be and is hereby rescinded; provided, that such rescission shall not be effective as to those properties for which the city has received a Special Master's Deed prior to the effective date of this section, it being the intention of the Council in rescinding said resolution that the redemption policy of the city be in agreement with the statutory period of redemption of one year for foreclosed property.
