The city may terminate the license herein granted as to one, several or all of such licensees by giving public notice of intention so to terminate in the then legal newspaper of the city or by delivering a written copy of such notice to the then occupants of the property and it shall be the duty of the then owners of the property to remove such wall or fence at their own cost within ten days of the giving of such notice as hereinabove provided.
