§ 13-14-4 SMALL BUSINESS REGULATORY ADVISORY COMMISSION CREATED; MEMBERSHIP; DUTIES.
   (A)   The "Small Business Regulatory Advisory Commission" is created. The Commission shall consist of seven members appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. Members shall serve three year terms. A member shall not serve more than three consecutive terms. Members shall name the chairperson of the Commission. The Commission shall meet at the call of the chairperson but not less than twice per quarter. A majority of the members of the Commission shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of business.
   (B)   The Commission is administratively attached to the Economic Development Department, and staff for the Commission shall be provided by the Department.
   (C)   The Commission shall develop its own internal procedures for soliciting comments from the small business community relating to existing or proposed rules of the city, and for considering requests from small business owners to review rules adopted by the city.
   (D)   The Commission members shall reside within the City of Albuquerque or shall be an owner of record in or be currently serving as a corporate officer of a business operating within the City of Albuquerque.
