Unless they execute an affidavit that they will only be raising funds for governmental entities, professional fund raisers must file and have approved by the Mayor a bond for the protection of charitable organizations for which the applicant conducts solicitations and creditors of the fund raiser arising out of the performance of the fund raiser in the charitable solicitation in the sum of at least $25,000 before being issued a license pursuant to this article. The bond must be maintained for the license period and shall cover all occurrences arising during the term of the license.
