For the purpose of §§ 13-7-1-1 et seq., the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ESTABLISHMENT. All hotels, motels, motor courts, motor hotels, tourist courts, and the like.
PERSON. Owner, operator or manager.
RATE. Whether singular or plural, the amount charged for any unit and shall include letters or figures.
SIGN. Any sign or signs whether affixed to or detached from any establishment; and shall include any sign or signs referring to such establishment whether located on the premises or off the premises; and which is or are visible from a public highway or street.
UNIT. Whether singular or plural any room, apartment, section, or the like which describes living, sleeping or eating areas.
