(A) Unless otherwise specifically stated in this ordinance or a franchise, all acts which a grantee is required to perform under the franchise or applicable law must be performed at the grantee's expense, or that of a third party as may be lawfully required, including but not limited to protection, support, disconnection, relocation or removal of its property when required by the city. This provision is not intended to limit grantee's right to pass through to subscribers or other third parties franchise related or other costs incurred in exercising obligations under this ordinance or the franchise.
(B) If a grantee fails to perform work that it is required to perform within the time provided for performance, after written notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure, the city may perform the work or cause the work to be performed and bill the grantee therefor. The grantee shall pay the amounts billed within 30 days.
