(A) Term. This franchise ordinance, and the rights, privileges and authority granted hereunder, shall continue for a period of ten years from the effective date.
(B) Effective date. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication as provided by Section 3-42-1 NMSA 1978, or successor statute; provided that the Authority, either before or within 60 days shall have passed legislation also approving this franchise.
