§ 13-4-4-15 CONSERVATION AND DEMAND SIDE MANAGEMENT.
   (A)   Commitment.  
      (1)   The city and NMUI recognize and agree that conservation programs offer opportunities for the efficient use of water and reduction of customers' costs. NMUI recognizes and shares the city's strong desire to advance the implementation of cost-effective conservation programs that provide direct opportunities to NMUI’s customers to manage more efficiently their use of water and thereby create the opportunity to reduce their costs.
      (2)   In this regard, NMUI agrees to reasonably expand NMUI’s current conservation programs and offer additional conservation programs for the benefit of NMUI’s customers.
   (B)   Promotion. NMUI shall devote a reasonable share of NMUI’s promotional and advertising budget to encourage the principles of conservation and the benefits of the specific conservation programs to be implemented by NMUI.
