After the passage of this ordinance [upon which §§ 13-4-1-1 et seq. are based] and upon its acceptance by the company all rights and privileges heretofore granted by the municipality in and by its ordinance or ordinances granting and/or supplement-ing gas franchise rights to the company or its predecessors in interest, shall be superseded by this ordinance, including (without being limited to) Ordinance No. 778, passed on March 25, 1952; which ordinance shall then be of no further force or effect.
