If a violation of this Ordinance occurs before any conveyance, lease, sale, gift or transfer of any kind of any Overnight Lodging Establishment, the grantor, lessor or transferor is liable for the violation. The Owner may require indemnification and insurance covering said Owner to ensure all taxes, operations and other liabilities are covered. In the event of any conveyance, lease, sale, gift or transfer contemplated under this section, the grantee, lessee, transferee or other recipient of all or any part of the Overnight Lodging Establishment shall comply with Section 5 of this Ordinance within thirty days of the effective date of the conveyance.
