Any person convicted of resisting or failing to obey any order of any police officer issued in the proper execution of a Traffic Control Order issued under the authority of §§ 9-5-2-1 et seq., or of interfering with the performance of duty by any officer under the authority of such order, or of failing to heed or obey any sign or other traffic control device authorized by such order shall be subject to the penalty provisions set forth in § 1-1-99 of this code of ordinances.
