(A) Any person requesting an interview with Albuquerque Police Department personnel in connection with a legal proceeding with regard to which the personnel may be a witness, may be charged an administrative scheduling fee of $15 by the city prior to the interview. The scheduling fee shall not apply to any formal notice of deposition or subpoena.
(B) The Office of the Public Defender (including its private contract attorneys when representing Public Defender clients) and any organization providing legal services to the indigent are exempt from this provision.
