§ 9-4-3-1 CREATION OF FIRE RESERVE CORPS.

(A) There is established a Fire Reserve Corps composed of those persons who shall have been appointed and sworn in as members thereof by the Fire Chief, trainees, and a member of the Fire Department appointed by the Fire Chief as Chief of the Fire Reserve Corps. Members and trainees shall be volunteer workers only and shall not be deemed to be employees of the city or of the Fire Department for any purpose other than for the purposes of § 9-4-3-6.
