In the event that the Class A and B wrecker on call determines that response to a request for service cannot be made within 30 minutes, or the Class C and D wrecker on call determines such response cannot be made within a reasonable amount of time, it shall be his responsibility to dispatch a backup wrecker and to so notify the police radio dispatcher. No backup wrecker shall be called unless such wrecker is currently on the City of Albuquerque rotation list. Failure to call for backup wrecker service as outlined above, or failure of the wrecker on call to notify the police radio dispatcher, shall be grounds for removal from the rotation list, as provided herein. Any vehicle removed by a backup wrecker shall be delivered to the storage area of the wrecker on call, without additional charges, unless otherwise directed by the owner. The wrecker initiating the call for back-up is responsible for the back-up wrecker's response time. If the back-up cannot respond within 30 minutes, then the primary wrecker shall be charged with the delay.
