§ 7-7-2 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this article, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BUSINESS HOURS. While on City of Albuquerque wrecker rotation list, the wrecker's office must be open a minimum of Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and Sunday 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours shall be considered "extended hours" as defined in the Public Regulation Commission Tariff. While not on rotation, the wrecker must keep regular business hours, open 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, as a minimum, with the exception of legal holidays.
   CLASS A, B, C, or D. That classification of wrecker equipment and service as has been adopted by the Public Regulation Commission in its most current rules, regulations and tariffs.
   EFFECTIVE DATE. June 1, 2000, unless otherwise specified in this article.
   HEARING OFFICER.  The City Hearing Officer, as defined by the Independent Office of Hearings Ordinance (§§ 2-7-8-1 et seq. ROA 1994), who shall mediate disputes and hear appeals as per the terms of this article.
   MAYOR. The Mayor or his authorized designee.
   MVD. The New Mexico State Motor Vehicle Department.
   PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization of any kind.
   WARRANT. Operating authority issued to wrecker services by the Public Regulation Commission.
   WRECKER. A person engaged in the business of offering the services of a vehicle wrecker or towing service whereby motor vehicles are towed by use of a tow truck so designed for that purpose or by a truck, automobile, or other vehicle so adapted to that purpose.
