It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, while at or upon the Albuquerque International Sunport, to perform, or offer to perform any services, or to furnish, or offer to furnish any goods, wares, merchandise or intangible property, or to engage, or offer to engage in any commercial activity, or to solicit patronage by advertising or otherwise for any commercial activity, except the following: Persons, firms, and corporations who have entered into contracts or leases with the city which specifically permit the use of the Albuquerque International Sunport, or designated portions thereof, for the carrying on of specified commercial activities, may engage in such specified activities.
Specified commercial activities that are contemplated include, without limitation, contracts or leases regarding use of the consolidated rental car facility, use of the commercial lane at the terminal, provision of food and beverages on airport property, sale of newspapers, books and sundries on airport property, provision of a variety of customer services related to the operation of the Sunport. With regard to all the specified commercial activities, the city may assess reasonable fees and charges related to use of the Sunport property.
