Once the recommendation of award for the construction contract has been made by the Consulting Engineer and approved by appropriate personnel of the city responsible for purchase of construction for capital projects under the Public Purchases Ordinance, the SAD Engineer will prepare a resolution for City Council approval which awards the construction contract to the selected contractor. The contractor shall not be given notice to proceed under the construction contract until passage by the City Council of Resolution No. 5.
